It’s Never Out Of Style To Pull Out Her Chair, Open Her Door, And Lay Your Coat On The Grounded For Her
Unfortunately, it’s rare to see these small gestures done nowadays (and that’s why ladies think chivalry is dead) but believe me, ladies appreciate this. It’s not even about doing the biggest and grandest gestures but rather the small everyday ones.
Gentlemen, it’s not hard to open the door for your lady and let her in. The same goes for the car. If you can unlock your car door by simply pressing a button so easily, make sure you walk around and open the door for her before pressing the unlock button from your remote keys.
When you go out to dinner, don’t sit down first. Pull her chair out for her, let her sit before you sit. Seriously, when is the last time you have done this or even seen someone do this out at a restaurant?
I’m not expecting people to lay coats down in puddles like they did back in the day, but if it’s raining, bring an umbrella and escort her from the car to the front door. If she’s cold, give her your coat. If you even want to have some fun and there’s a huge puddle, give her a piggyback ride and walk through the puddle for her just so she doesn’t get wet.
It’s the small gestures that ladies appreciate and will never forget. So be the first person to officially walk around and open her car door for her. Be the first person to pull out her chair. She’ll remember those sweet things for the rest of her life so keep reminding her.
