A Gentleman Must First Find Himself, Before He Finds His Woman, Or He’ll Damage What Ever Woman He Comes In Contact With Along The Way

Don’t be selfish. If you’re not ready to be in a relationship, don’t potentially damage someone else trying to find who you are on the way. I understand there might be some pressure to be in one, whether it’s from someone who is interested in you or from family and friends, but if you’re not ready, just be honest with them. More importantly, be honest with yourself.

In addition to finding yourself, don’t be that person who jumps from relationship to relationship without giving themselves time to get level headed again. Believe it or not, but you do need that time to yourself. Use that time wisely. Do what you need to do to get that sadness, anger and any other emotions out of your system. Breathe. Reflect and move on.

Every person has his or her own time frame but there’s no need to bring that baggage into the next relationship if you haven’t found yourself again.

Don’t turn a sweetheart into a broken heart that won’t trust again if you haven’t found yourself.

Yes, this goes for the ladies too. Don’t turn a nice guy into someone who just won’t fully be nice again.
