Fun Spring Date Ideas
Early Breakfast While Watching The Sunrise
Spring is here so that means the weather is starting to warm up, though, it’ll probably still be chilly in the morning but that makes for an even better situation! Bring a blanket and wrap it around the both of you while you watch the sunrise. Make sure you pack some breakfast items (especially coffee to help wake up) and start the day off right!
To those who are morning people, this would be a perfect and romantic date idea just for you!
Singing In The Rain
Okay, you don’t have to actually sing in the rain but there are some who just love the rain, how soothing it is and just dancing/walking in it without an umbrella. It might sound cliché but if she likes it and you go have fun in the rain with her, I’m pretty sure she’ll like you even more!
Of course, find out if she actually likes the rain first before you remove the umbrella from covering her.
Outdoor Foods
Food trucks, farmer’s markets, the hot dog stand, you name it! Turn a quick bite while you’re out into a fun date while enjoying delicious foods while enjoying the outdoors.
Try out your favorite (or new) food truck, sit at a nearby bench, eat, then take a walk. Easy and cheap!
Mini-Golf Or Driving Range
The outdoor driving ranges and mini-golf should be opening up as spring approaches and what’s a better way to enjoy a date than to challenge each other in a game of mini-golf or practice your swing.
Before you play, make a friendly little wager. If it’s a first or second date, bet that if you win, you get a kiss from her. If you’ve been together for a long time, make an interesting bet… I mean, you should know each other by then to come up with something good!
Be Active Together Outside
If you’ve been cooped up all winter, you probably want to enjoy the outdoors as much as you can. If you both are the active type, do something together, especially if you’ve never had a chance but are open to trying out new things. It can be anything from going hiking, to kayaking, paddle boating, jogging, outdoor yoga, tennis and the list goes on.
Work up a sweat together during your active date and then maybe you’ll end up working up a sweat together later on at night. 😉
Let Your Inner Child Out At The Park
Just because you’re an adult, it doesn’t mean you have to lock up your inner child. Do the simple things you used to do when you were a kid such as playing in the park, seeing if you can still slide down that slide, how high you can swing on the swings and if you can still climb across those monkey bars.
If you two still are kids at heart, this would be a great idea. I mean, when’s the last time you actually played at a playground?
Visit/Help Out At Animal Shelters
If both of you are pet lovers, then visiting and/or helping out at animal shelters would be for a good cause as well as a great date.
If you’re at that point in your relationship where you’re ready to get a pet together then this would be a good idea. Just keep in mind, this is basically preparing you for the next step after: having kids.
Go To A Baseball Game
Baseball season starts right around the time spring starts so go attend a baseball game and support the hometown team! This is probably one of the best times to attend because it’s still not too hot to be sitting in those hot bleacher seats.
Explore The City
I don’t care how long you’ve lived somewhere, there’s always going to be places you’ve never been, restaurants you’ve never tried and things you haven’t done yet. Go out and explore the city! Try out a new restaurant you’ve never been to, go to a part of town you rarely go to, try something new, have fun discovering together!
Beer Gardens and Outdoor Patios
When the weather is nice, those beer gardens and outdoor patios open right up! Enjoy the nice weather while having a nice cold drink enjoying each others company.
