Romantic Valentine’s Day Date Ideas For Her
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and if you wait until the last minute, more than likely, things won’t go as planned. Let us help you out if you’re struggling to come up with some new romantic date ideas for her for Valentine’s Day.
Before we get into the different romantic date ideas, here are a few tips that will help your romantic date go that much smoother while you get tons of brownie points from her.
Presentation Plays A Huge Part – Yes, you can get her flowers and I’m sure she’ll love it but that’s really only part of it. The other part is the way you deliver and present the flowers that will woo her! The flowers is just an example.
Now depending on where you are within your relationship with her, you should probably have an idea on what she likes and what she doesn’t. It’s all about paying attention to the small details, even if it doesn’t seem as though you’re actually listening.
For instance, if she’s never had flowers delivered to her work and you know she would love it, while at the same time making her coworkers jealous, that’s a surprise I’m sure she would love. (Tip: Write a special note with the flowers telling her you can’t wait to see her later tonight”.)
Now that’s just a very basic example but if you’re going to get her flowers, don’t just hand it over when you see her, anyone can do that. Present it to her in a way that will make her gush over you and tell all her friends.
Personalize It For Her – Not every girl will like flowers or surprises or potentially being the center of attention at work if surprise flowers are delivered to her (just sticking to the flowers example). The key is to personalize it to fit what she likes and who she is.
If she’s shy, she’s probably going to feel a little embarrassed if you surprise her with flowers at work with all her coworkers giving her that attention she probably doesn’t even want to begin with. In that case, surprise her when it’s just the two of you alone.
Whatever you end up doing, make sure it’s personalized. If we’re sticking with the flowers example… say you’ve been dating for 6 months, maybe get her 6 of her favorite flowers to symbolize that. Maybe a Hershey’s kiss for each day you’ve given her a kiss. But personalize it for her because it’ll show her that you put a lot of thought into it.
Don’t Wait Till The Last Minute – If you’re going to show her that you put a lot of thought and effort into whatever you end up doing, planning in advance is in order. Do not wait until the last minute because it’ll show.
With that said, let’s get right into some romantic date ideas you can do for her on Valentine’s Day.
Eat In
Sounds simple enough but like we mentioned earlier, presentation and personalizing goes a long way. Set up a romantic dinner for the both of you. If you live in a place where it’s freezing outside but you know she enjoys picnics, try setting up a picnic in your living room.
If you know some of her favorite foods, try looking up to see if any of them are natural aphrodisiacs (like oysters, watermelon and chocolate just to name a few), which will help boost that sex drive. You’re welcome.
If you can cook, that will be even better. If not, there’s no shame in getting take out. Just try to surprise her before she returns from work.
If you eat in all the time, maybe try another one of these suggestions listed.
Cuddle Under The Stars
I live in a big city so it’s hard to see the stars at night. Now if you’re in the same situation where you know she doesn’t get to see them often, take her to a nice dinner and then afterwards surprise with a nice spot you can take her to so you can cuddle under the stars with her.
Bring a blanket!
Now if you’re able to see the stars from your backyard, set everything up there and surprise with that.
Campfire
Similar to the previous idea, if you don’t want to go far and you have a place for a campfire in your backyard, try setting up a campfire where you can both be warm while you wrap your arms around her.
If the stars are out, even better. If not, the campfire will be romantic by itself!
Make sure you bring her favorite wine!
Dancing
Now I know a lot of you guys probably aren’t dancers, or even like to dance at all, but your lady might very well love it. Try finding out what type of dancing she likes best and dance with her.
If you’re a horrible dancer, there are plenty of Youtube tutorials that you can watch and practice in the comfort of your own home. If she knows you’re not really into dancing (or not a very good dancer) and you surprise her with this, you will put a cheek-to-cheek smile on her face for the rest of the night and she’ll see that you put tons of effort into it.
If you’re not comfortable with a night out of dancing, stay in. Set up in your living room with a surprise romantic dance hall with just the two of you and maybe create a personalized playlist of songs she likes.
Dress Fancy, Act Fancy
If you guys don’t get to dress up often, this would be a great time to re-impress each other by dressing fancy and look stunning to each other. Imagine going to a fancy ball, dress like that; act fancy, charm and sway her all night!
Act Like Strangers
Some people like the thrill of getting to know someone new or the chase. Who doesn’t like the chase? Why not do it with her? Tell her to dress up, meet you at a bar/restaurant, then when you see her waiting there, go pick her up like she’s a stranger and you’re trying to get her number for a date. It’ll let you guys be able to really flirt like it was your first date all over again.
That’s just one of many potential role playing ideas that would be interesting, especially on Valentine’s Day, but there are plenty of other role playing that you guys might like better.
Hot Tub Getaway
Rent out a fancy AirBNB or a suite that has a hot tub. You don’t have to go far, there are a lot of hotels that have this option.
Tell her to pack some clothes just for the night, take her to a nice dinner and if you plan it out right, you should have gotten to the hotel and set up candles, roses, wine and glasses, and have everything personalized for her before you two end up back there.
Both of you guys will be nice and relaxed and she will love it!
At the end of the day, it’s all about spending some quality time with her and making her feel appreciated. Yes, I know you should be making each other feel appreciated every single day but this is a good way to remind her that you still have that romantic touch!
Let us know how much she loved your romantic Valentine’s Day date!
